Daily Walks

All pets have different exercise and energy requirements, but most dogs require multiple walks per day.  Accomplishing this is sometimes next to impossible with long work hours.  Sara's Pet Sitting offers daily walks for dogs who need to get some fresh air for a while during the day.  Dogs enjoy getting out and about and they tend to do better, behaviorally, when some of their energy can be released.  Coming home to a happy, unstressed, and exercised dog is a huge relief after a long day at work.

 

Each basic walk is 30 minutes at $20 per walk and $10 for each additional dog. The walk time can be adjusted and discussed further.

 

Home Visits

For pets who do not require walking, like cats or caged animals, Sara's Pet Sitting also offers daily home visits.  Some pets have a strict medication or feeding schedule and Sara's Pet Sitting can be there to accommodate you. Having a visitor check in on your pet during the day also helps to break up the monotony of the day, providing some play time or cuddle time for a pet who may be lonely.

 

Each basic home visit is 30 minutes at $20 per visit and $10 for each additional pet.  House sitting options are also available.  With house sitting services, i.e. bringing in mail, watering plants, turning blinds, etc., please allow for an additional 20 minutes and an additional $10.

Daycare

Isn't it great to see your fur baby excited to go for a car ride or to try something new?  Watching them learn and process information is truly amazing.  Being able to offer them a change of pace from the daily grind of waiting for you to come home is something special.  I am currently offering daycare in my home, pending an initial free consultation and meet and greet with my little pup, Yoshi. During daycare we will walk, play, nap, and maybe even do some basic training if that is something that interests you!

 

A full day of daycare is considered between six and ten hours of care.  Drop off and pick up times can be discussed for special needs or long commutes.  A full day of daycare is $25 per full day and $10 for each additional pet.  One client is considered one family, as Sara's Pet Sitting will only entertain one client per day.  This increases safety for all pets involved.  For now, Sara's Pet Sitting is only offering in-home daycare for dogs.

Jogging Sessions

For the active dog in your life Sara's Pet Sitting offers jogging sessions. Each dog's endurance levels are different, so your dog will need to be assessed before agreeing to specific distances.  As a long distance runner Sara offers these sessions with your dog's health and safety at the highest priority level.  Sometimes walking isn't enough for a fit dog and jogging helps to keep the pet's mind focused and entertained.    

 

A basic jogging session includes up to 1 mile of jogging at $25 per dog. Prices may vary if multiple dogs can be jogged together.
